Decades of Trusted Title Services in Middle Tennessee
Bankers Title began doing real estate closing work in 1988 and incorporated as Bankers Title & Escrow Corporation in 1991, originally operating as part of the Stokes & Bartholomew law firm on West End Avenue under the leadership of President Rusty Moore and founding directors Sam Bartholomew, Vaden Lackey, Tom French, Thomas Pennington, and D. Reed Houk. In 1996, Jim Waechter joined after serving as a real estate attorney for thirteen years at Walt Dyer & James in Nashville, and soon after, he and Rusty transitioned Bankers Title into an independent entity. Over the years, the company has built strong, lasting relationships with Realtors, mortgage bankers, relocation companies, builders, and developers, fueling steady growth. Today, with offices in four rapidly growing locations across Middle Tennessee, Bankers Title continues to provide trusted title insurance and escrow services while forging new connections and delivering unmatched professionalism in every real estate transaction.
